Inventory Control Coordinator

*Description*
*Purpose:*Provide clerical support relating to the receipt, issue, accuracy and location of all supplies in the Materials Handling Department for assigned facility(s). Run daily stock reports, weekly cycle counts, place orders with vendors for supplies and follow up to ensure orders are received.
Delivers product to appropriate stocking location and rotates inventory to ensure the oldest product is used first.
Maintenance and accuracy of inventoried locations by performing daily par counts / re-orders based on the location.
* Partner with Purchasing to expedite supplies and maintain proper stock levels.
* Run daily Stock Status reports and check for errors.
* Provide accurate documentation of all department inventory transactions.
* Report any item shortage to Manager of Distribution or Supervisor Materials Handling.
* Place orders to ensure supply levels are maintained including, faxing orders, providing EDI order conformations and placing conformation numbers on purchase order.
* Follow up with vendors on shipping dates of back ordered supplies. Run PO detail reports for open and partial orders weekly.
* Check stock for expiration dates during weekly cycle counts.
* Enter material receipts and issues into computer system.
* Delivers all tissue related product in a timely manner as described in the product instructions.
* Maintain and Model REACH Values (Respect, Excellence, Accountability, Compassion, Honor).
* Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
* Performs other duties as required.
*Education and Experience Requirements:*
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of one (1) year experience in logistics or supply chain.
* Minimum of one (1) year healthcare experience.
* PREFER: Three (3) years’ experience in logistics or supply chain.

*Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:*
* Microsoft Office, Excel.
* Proficient in data entry.
