Sojourner House is seeking an experienced full-time Clinical Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day services and functioning of the Sojourner House treatment program.
Founded more than 30 years ago, Sojourner House continues to grow, providing housing and supportive services to mothers in recovery and their dependent children. As a faith-based non-profit organization embraced by the Pittsburgh community, you’ll be part of a team dedicated to our mission.
In this role, you will be responsible for the facilitation and supervision of all clinical functions; staff development, training, and supervision; outcomes; referral relationships and marketing; licensure, regulations and credentialing; quality assurance; and the general oversight of facility maintenance.
What You’ll Bring:
+ Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field, plus 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent, or Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 3 (three) years of related experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent, required.
+ LSW, LCSW, LPC and/or supervisory experience preferred.
+ A demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of mental health, substance abuse, maternal addiction, and recovery methods; demonstrated successful ability to conduct individual, family and group sessions; knowledge of community resources and other support services; successful case management and record keeping skills preferred.
+ Demonstrated successful ability to hire, coach, train, and develop staff; and create a positive team-oriented, educational, work environment.
+ Advanced interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to establish and maintain good will and good working relationships with staff, clients, family members, other service providers, volunteers, board members, and community representatives.
+ Cultural sensitivity and the ability to maintain professional level confidentiality.
Licenses and Clearances:
+ Ability to acquire Act 33/34 & FBI clearances
+ Must obtain annual TB (PPD) testing
+ Current/valid Driver's License and ability to drive a 12 passenger van as needed to escort residents within the East End and surrounding communities.
