Description

A reputable, full-service national firm is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Seattle office. In this role, you will be a vital part of the firm supporting multiple commercial litigators with complex matters. The firm is known for fostering an inclusive work environment, providing exceptional legal services, and offering robust opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities include:

+ Scheduling court filings (state and federal e-filing); researching and remaining compliant with court rules;

+ Project and database management alongside managing physical and electronic files;

+ Coordinating schedules, travel, billing entries, and other administrative tasks associated with litigation processes;

+ Supporting attorneys with necessary overflow work or during peak filing schedules.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $70,000–$106,000 annually. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision (including HSA); disability and life insurance; pre-tax commuting benefits; a wellness program; employer-sponsored 401(k) plan contributions; 20 paid days off per calendar year, paid holidays.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of legal practice assistant or paralegal experience, preferably with a midsize or large law firm.

+ Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and litigation processes.

+ Excellent administrative skills, including typing, proofreading, spelling, grammar, and organizational abilities.

+ Knowledge of case management and timekeeping applications, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office Suite
