    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Back End Developer to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a contract to hire position offering the opportunity to work on innovative projects in the high-tech engineering industry. The role involves building scalable backend solutions, leveraging cloud technologies, and integrating AI-driven functionality to enhance system capabilities.

    Local or relo to New Mexico preferred

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement robust and scalable backend systems using Python and RESTful APIs.

    • Develop cloud-native applications utilizing Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Blob Storage, and Azure Event Hubs.

    • Integrate AI services to enable intelligent automation, document processing, and natural language capabilities.

    • Optimize backend performance to ensure reliability and maintainability of systems.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend systems and integrations.

    • Implement security measures and best practices to safeguard data and applications.

    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve backend processes.

    • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are met.

    • Develop and maintain documentation for backend systems and processes.

    Requirements

    The successful Backend Developer will have:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in backend development.

    • Proficiency in Python and RESTful API design.

    • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Blob Storage.

    • Familiarity with Azure Event Hubs, Azure Service Bus, and cloud-native application development.

    • Knowledge of AI services, including OpenAI and Azure AI tools, for intelligent system integration.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

    • Understanding of software development best practices and security protocols.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
