What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Assist with Month-End Close: Provide key support in closing the books each month. This includes preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
+ Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support the AP and AR teams by processing invoices, tracking receivables, and following up on outstanding balances to ensure smooth cash flow.
+ Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of detailed financial reports that help business leaders make informed decisions.
+ General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting.
+ Ad Hoc Projects: Be ready to roll up your sleeves and assist with special projects, such as process improvements or new software implementations.
Requirements
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
+ Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience. Internships are great—tell us about them!
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (think pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formula creation), and familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
+ Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp eye for accuracy and take pride in delivering error-free work.
+ Team Player: You enjoy working collaboratively and stepping up to assist when needed.
+ Eagerness to Learn: You’re motivated to grow and take on new challenges, with support from our experienced team.
