    We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Gainesville, Texas in a contract-to-hire position. This Contract-to-Permanent position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in tax preparation and compliance. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse tax filings and contribute to a collaborative environment. 100% ONSITE in Gainesville, TX.

    Contract-to-hire Senior Tax Accountant:

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and review individual, partnership (Form 1065), S-Corporation (Form 1120S), and corporate (Form 1120) tax returns.

    • Handle multi-family and multi-entity tax filings with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Collaborate with CPAs and other team members to ensure timely and precise tax preparation and compliance.

    • Utilize industry-standard tax software, such as CCH ProSystem fx, for tax planning and documentation.

    • Apply tax law knowledge to resolve complex tax-related challenges for clients.

    • Communicate and coordinate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

    • Contribute to the improvement of internal processes related to tax preparation and documentation.

    • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations to provide accurate advice and solutions to clients.

     

    Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including partnership, S-Corporation, and corporate returns.

     

    • Strong understanding of multi-family and multi-entity tax structures.

    • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem fx or similar tax software for compliance and planning.

    • Knowledge of IRS Forms 1065, 1120S, and 1120, as well as consolidated and multi-state tax returns.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

    • Familiarity with federal and state tax laws and regulations.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address tax challenges.

    • Certification such as CPA is preferred but not required.
