Description We are looking for a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Coppell, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting various human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance, while ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to organizational success by fostering a positive workplace culture and upholding HR best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and collaborate with leadership to address recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management needs.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless integration into the organization.
• Implement and oversee HR policies and procedures, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage and track protected leaves and workers' compensation claims in compliance with legal requirements.
• Participate in cross-functional taskforces and project workgroups to support organizational initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks related to various HR functions.
• Collaborate with payroll providers to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate processing of payroll data.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll information to ensure compliance with tax regulations and labor standards.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports to monitor expenses and identify trends.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and coordinate adjustments with third-party providers as needed. Requirements • Proven experience in HR functions such as employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems, particularly Workday.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including FMLA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
• Experience managing payroll processes and working with third-party payroll providers.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and background checks.
