    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Coppell, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting for large organizations, with expertise in audit preparation and financial compliance. This position requires an individual who can ensure accuracy in financial reporting while maintaining effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. This is a 2-month contract position with a hybrid work schedule (4 days/week in the office).

    Senior Accountant (contract position):

    Looking for a senior accountant with large ERP experience (conversion experience a huge plus) and experience preparing for and working an audit.

    Top 3 Needs:

    1. Strong accounting acumen – ability to work with multiple departments and auditors

    2. Large ERP experience – Oracle preferred – Experience with system conversions/implementations a plus.

    3. Detailed – ability to anticipate what auditors would be looking for and help the team to be prepared – possibly will want someone to work on SOPs for the department.

     

    Software: Excel, Oracle, Oracle Fusion, D365

     

    Excel skills/tools: Strong Excel

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in large organizations.

    • Proficiency in account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management.

    • Expertise in preparing journal entries and conducting month-end close processes.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle systems.

    • Strong understanding of audit preparation and handling audit requests.
