    Description

    Our client is hiring a Billing Manager based in Houston, Texas. Will manage a team in a multi-state environment, overseeing both corporate and branch billing staff. The Billing Manager, will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement and implementing efficiency measures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise team members in billing operations across multiple locations

    • Leverage your expertise in Microsoft Excel for various tasks

    • Implement new software, such as Oracle, to streamline operations

    • Identify and execute process improvement projects to enhance efficiency

    • Act as a mentor to your team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment

    • Ensure the accurate processing and recording of company's billings

    • Liaise with other departments to ensure billing accuracy

    • Address and resolve any billing inquiries from customers or team members

    • Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and take necessary actions when needed.

    Requirements

    • Detail oriented experience in the transport industry, with a minimum of 10 years preferred.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in billing processes and procedures.

    • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required.

    • Proven track record of successful software implementations is essential.

    • Extensive experience in leading process improvement projects.

    • Familiarity with Oracle or similar enterprise software is a must.

    • Bachelor's Degree
