    *Position Summary:*

    SOVAH Danville is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant at Sovah Internal Medicine Clinic to join our team.

    The CMA will:

    * Perform routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.

    * Underthe supervision of a physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.

    * Perform basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection.

    * Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition.

    * Document patient careis given.

    * Maintain equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.

    * Maintain examination areas.

    *Minimum Education:***

    * High school diploma or equivalent required.

    * Associate's degree required or other certificatesinstead of anAssociate'sdegree.

    *Required Certifications/Licenses:*

    * A Medical Assistant Certificate or Registration is required.*/"Registry must be through the State Board of Nursing or the NHA."/*

    * BasicLife Support (BLS) American Heart Association required.
