Associate Attorney, Family Law

Robert Half is searching for a 3+ years' Associate Attorney with a background in family law and/or civil litigation to join a respected family law practice in Denver, CO on a direct-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for an attorney with 3+ years of professional experience to advance their career with a firm that values excellence in legal practice, client relationships, and courtroom success.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Represent clients in family law matters, providing legal advice, negotiation, and advocacy.

+ Conduct thorough legal research and draft high-quality documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.

+ Maintain strong, professional communication with clients, court officials, and community members.

+ Manage a caseload independently and effectively, ensuring all deadlines and court requirements are met.

+ Work collaboratively with the team to deliver outstanding client service.

Candidates interested in this position must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an Active admission to the Colorado State Bar. 3+ years of professional legal experience, with a focus on family law or civil litigation, and prior experience as a judicial clerk or in a judicial clerkship is highly preferred. Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active membership in the Colorado State Bar.

• Minimum of three years of legal experience, with a focus on family law or civil litigation.

• Strong background in legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.

• Proficiency in case management software and legal technology.

• Experience in depositions, arguing motions, and managing trial preparation.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
