Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a Content Strategy Manager for one of our clients in Charlotte, NC!
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Content Strategy Manager to lead the planning, development, and execution of our content initiatives. This role is responsible for aligning content efforts with business goals, driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across all channels. You will oversee content planning, editorial calendars, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure content consistency, performance, and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports the company's brand, voice, and objectives.
+ Manage the content lifecycle — from ideation and creation to distribution and performance analysis.
+ Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and sales teams to align messaging and campaign priorities.
+ Own the editorial calendar and ensure a consistent publishing schedule across web, email, blog, social media, and other platforms.
+ Lead and mentor a team of content creators, writers, and freelancers.
+ Conduct content audits to identify gaps, refresh outdated assets, and optimize SEO.
+ Analyze performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversions) and adjust strategies based on insights.
+ Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and regulatory standards.
+ Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and content innovations
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or editorial management.
+ Proven experience managing content for multiple channels, including blogs, websites, and email campaigns.
+ Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content optimization.
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
+ Proficiency in content management systems (e.g., WordPress), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
+ Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools is a plus.
+ Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
