    Description

    We are working with a local manufacturing company who is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement and Financial Analyst to join their team in. In this role, you will play a key part in managing procurement activities and financial operations to support our manufacturing processes. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative workplace while driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that requires to ability to work on-site in Sumner, WA 5 days per week.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability, while fostering strong relationships with existing partners.

    • Oversee the entire procurement process, including requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and negotiations.

    • Generate and analyze financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to support business decisions.

    • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts, performing variance analyses to ensure accuracy.

    • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid disruptions in production.

    • Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify opportunities for optimizing procurement strategies.

    • Implement process improvements aimed at enhancing purchasing and financial operations.

    • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement and financial activities.

    Salary and Benefits:

    The hourly pay range for this position is $30-35/hour with additional quarterly bonus potential. Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, participation in the company's 401k plan w/ a 3% match, 80 hours of PTO in the first year and 7 paid holidays.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

     

    • At least 3 years of experience in procurement or accounting, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    • Demonstrated expertise in budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis.

    • Skilled in conducting cost analysis and implementing cost-saving measures.

    • Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.

    • Familiarity with inventory management and procurement processes.

    • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to procurement and financial activities.
