Description

Our team is partnering with a highly respected law firm that is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their thriving team in Chicago, IL.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Draft and oversee engagement letters.

+ Provide litigation support to attorneys.

+ Prepare and edit legal documents and correspondence, including letters, memos, briefs, pleadings, and reports.

+ Handle probate documentation and trust administration.

+ E-file approved documents via court portals.

+ Assist with administrative and other assigned tasks to ensure seamless legal operations.

Requirements

+ 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, supporting multiple attorneys.

+ Litigation, Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration experience strongly preferred.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management systems, e-filing, and billing systems.

+ Outstanding written and verbal communication.
