As a Senior Accountant your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Oversee critical accounting processes, including monthly close procedures and reconciliation of accounts.
• Manage cash flow reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting of financial transactions.
• Prepare and execute profit and loss (P& L) statements, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Supervise and mentor one direct report, fostering growth and development.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring alignment with financial records.
• Handle journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations with precision and timeliness.
• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis activities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and internal controls.
• Review and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights to leadership.
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant will have the following:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in account reconciliation, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry processes.
• Expertise in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with P& L execution and the ability to provide accurate financial insights.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage responsibilities effectively.
