    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a Patient Registration Representative to support the Emergency Department for one of our clients. This is a dynamic opportunity for a customer-service-driven professional looking to grow within a supportive, fast-paced hospital environment. This is a contract-to-hire role, offering excellent growth opportunities!

    Key Responsibilities

    + Register patients and verify insurance details with precision

    + Interpret physician orders and coordinate bed assignments

    + Update patient demographic and insurance information

    + Guide patients and visitors with courtesy and professionalism

    + Prepare and scan documents into the electronic medical record system

    + Obtain and validate insurance cards and eligibility

    + Assemble and manage patient charts and documentation

    + Handle administrative tasks like faxing, copying, and inventory control

    + Assist in resolving patient account issues

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Healthcare experience

    + Strong customer service background

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office with fast, accurate typing skills

    + Ability to multitask across multiple systems and maintain attention to detail

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Available Shifts:

    Shift 1: Friday – Sunday 5:00 PM-530 AM

     

    Shift 2: Wednesday & Thursday 5:00 PM -5:30 AM

     

    Shift 3: 5 AM - 1:30 PM (M-F)

     

    Shift 4: Friday & Saturday 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM
