Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a Contract to permanent basis in Manhattan Beach, California. In this role, you will support the finance department by ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and maintaining inventory of assets. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within the retail industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.

• Reconcile account discrepancies and resolve payment issues with vendors.

• Maintain and update records of asset inventories to ensure accurate tracking.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient payment cycles.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation as needed.

• Monitor and manage accounts payable inbox to address inquiries promptly.

• Verify and match purchase orders with invoices to streamline approval processes.

• Support month-end closing activities by providing necessary data and reports. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related role.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Proficiency in invoice coding and asset inventory management.

• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and team members.

• Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies.

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
