Data Entry Clerk

We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This contract position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to navigate computer systems efficiently. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate file organization and transitioning data between systems.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer files manually from one system to another while ensuring accuracy and proper placement.

• Verify that files are correctly saved in the new system before deleting them from the original location.

• Maintain organized records of completed file movements for tracking and auditing purposes.

• Follow established protocols to ensure smooth and error-free file transitions.

• Identify and resolve any issues encountered during the file transfer process.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

• Adapt quickly to system-specific procedures and tools, including Workday.

• Perform scanning, organizing, and sorting of files as required.

• Provide updates on progress to supervisors and address any concerns promptly.

• Safeguard sensitive information during file handling to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in data entry or file management.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Familiarity with database management and document control practices.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new systems quickly; experience with Workday is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent typing and file organization capabilities.

• Effective communication skills for email correspondence and team collaboration.

• Comfort with repetitive tasks and manual processes.
