    Robert Half is hiring a seasoned Payroll Specialist for a construction company in Fallbrook, CA. This role requires extensive experience managing full-cycle payroll processes for large teams, including handling complex payroll systems like ADP Workforce Now.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Lead full-cycle payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, coordinating across departments to ensure successful execution.

    + Input, maintain, and update employee payroll information in ADP Workforce Now with a high degree of accuracy.

    + Administer payroll-related adjustments such as promotions, bonuses, garnishments, and benefits deductions.

    + Prepare and reconcile payroll-related reports, including tax filings, quarterly reports, and year-end W-2 forms.

    + Collaborate with HR to manage employee benefits enrollment and address payroll-related compliance issues.

    + Monitor and ensure compliance with payroll laws, including FLSA requirements in California and federal regulations.

    + Respond to payroll inquiries, resolving discrepancies with professionalism and care.

    + Provide documentation and reports for audits, offering full transparency of payroll practices.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (SHRM or PHR certifications preferred).

    + 3+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, ideally within the construction industry.

    + Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with payroll complexities for large teams.

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to address both employee and company needs effectively.

    + Strong understanding of payroll compliance laws and tax reporting requirements.

    + Stellar organizational and communication skills.
