Position Overview The Manager, Security Operations & Risk plays a critical leadership role on the Corporate Security team, driving enterprise-wide initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate physical and behavioral risks. This dynamic position integrates investigative acumen, project management, and intelligence-led decision-making to enhance the company's safety and resilience across people, assets, and infrastructure. The Manager will lead cross-functional projects, oversee vendor relationships, and manage critical security technologies that support emergency preparedness, threat management, and facility protection. This role may also serve in an armed capacity in accordance with organizational policy and applicable licensure. The ideal candidate is a seasoned security professional with a law enforcement or military background, strong leadership presence, technical proficiency, and a vision for long-term organizational advancement. Key Responsibilities Intelligence & Technology Integration * Oversee and optimize open-source intelligence (OSINT) platforms to proactively identify and assess emerging threats. * Manage enterprise emergency communication systems to ensure operational readiness. * Audit workflows in platforms like Workday or UKG, ensuring compliance and scalability. * Collaborate closely with IT and cybersecurity teams to integrate physical and digital security protocols. Physical Security & Risk Mitigation * Lead end-to-end physical security initiatives, including planning, budgeting, vendor selection, and implementation. * Conduct security audits and assessments across corporate and field locations. * Identify vulnerabilities in access control, surveillance coverage, and operational procedures. * Review construction and renovation plans to ensure physical security design standards are met. * Track remediation efforts and provide leadership with actionable progress updates. Emergency Preparedness & Interagency Coordination * Oversee emergency preparedness across global and regional sites to align with corporate standards. * Develop and maintain site-specific emergency response plans, incident playbooks, and continuity guides. * Build relationships with law enforcement and emergency services; participate in public-private sector coalitions. * Lead or support drills, tabletop exercises, and emergency response simulations. * Maintain accurate records of emergency activities and incident response for reporting and compliance. Threat Management & Incident Response * Monitor, analyze, and report threat data to senior leadership, providing timely and actionable insights. * Maintain case files and documentation for investigations, assessments, and mitigation strategies. * Conduct or support investigations involving internal anomalies, digital threats, or behavioral concerns. * Support GSOC operations and ensure global threat monitoring and response protocols are followed. * Serve as a tactical responder to behavioral threats or high-risk incidents (armed response when authorized). Qualifications * Retired/former law enforcement officer (municipal, state, or federal) with a minimum of 3-5 years of active-duty experience. * Equivalent military experience considered if paired with prior private-sector security leadership. * Minimum of 3 years of corporate security experience, including direct work with digital security systems and physical security technology. * Demonstrated leadership in corporate security, enterprise risk management, or safety roles. * Authorized and credentialed to carry a firearm in accordance with corporate policy. * Strong background in threat assessment, investigations, and tactical incident response. * Proven experience managing physical security systems and overseeing third-party vendors. * Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, UKG, or comparable HR/enterprise systems. * Proficiency in OSINT tools, incident monitoring, and risk analytics. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive reporting and interdepartmental collaboration. * Understanding of GSOC operations, mass notification platforms, access control systems, and surveillance tools. * Professional certifications such as CPP, PSP, or PCI preferred (or willingness to obtain within 12-18 months). Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of IAC's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
