Job Overview:

Responsible for independently designing and building reports that lead to increased efficiencies in delivery of care as well as improvements in the quality of the care we deliver.

Qualifications:

Required:

+ AS Degree

+ Knowledge of various computer software packages essential

Preferred:

+ Bachelors degree in healthcare, Computer Sciences, or Business from an accredited 4 year university.

+ Prior experience with visual basic and other SAS platforms

+ Prior experience in writing business and IT specifications

+ Proficient in performing data analysis, querying data bases, and utilizing SQL query tools

+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts, pivot formulas, Power Pivots, and Power Queries

+ A thorough understanding of best practices for efficiently working with very large data sets in Excel

+ Intermediate understanding of Tableau or other BI reporting software

Certifications and Licenses Required:

+ N/A

Essential Functions:

+ Lead users in defining existing or new processes and recommending solutions and improvements in data management and visual display

+ Serve as an accessible liaison between users needs and the Strategic Improvement Department

+ Gather and document requirements and business processes as they pertain to report development, interfaces, and data

+ Responsible for maintaining newly created reports and provide troubleshooting and modifications

+ Responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and modifying any reports distributed to CSH key stakeholders

+ Independently develop project work plans

+ Independently document workflow processes

+ Create end user training material and operational documentation and train end users when appropriate

+ Conduct analysis of alternatives, recommendations, and data mapping
