Summary This position is located at Leisure Travel Sales, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Responsibilities Provides management and supervisory duties for the assigned area of responsibility. Ticket sales for local area events and attractions; information on rental cars, taxis, ground transportation, dinner reservations. Responsible for the procurement and accountability of tickets for local and out of town attractions, and request and maintains a library of travel and entertainment information. Prepares budget, and composes routine correspondence from brief notes, oral instructions, or on the basis of precedents. Performs a full range of supervisory duties. Recommending recruitment or reassignment actions, conducts performance appraisals and submits for approval by the manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Progressively responsible experience, including supervisory or managerial experience. Must have exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution and be able to supervise the work of others. A two (2) year degree (AA) with a major emphasis in hospitality management or closely related field may be substitute for some of the required experience. Experience in attraction sales and guest services is desirable. If using education as a qualification, transcripts must be uploaded at the time of application. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
