    About Cognizant’s Digital Engineering Practice:

    At Cognizant Digital Engineering, a small multi-functional team comprised of a Product Manager, an Architect, Full-Stack Developers, UI/UX designers and Big Data analysts builds higher quality software faster siloed individuals working independently. Small, nimble engineering teams generate collective empathy and comradery, thus increasing their ability to anticipate unforeseen development scope changes and maintain high quality work you're doing. Across our US Studio system or within client development sites, our Digital Engineering teams ideate and develop innovative cloud-based solutions following a Lean-Agile process with DevOps culture. Working in Cognizant Digital Engineering provides DevOps engineers consistent opportunities to push digital boundaries while growing their exposure to transformational technologies.

    Work Authorization

    + Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    + Lead the planning and execution of projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

    + Oversee project estimation processes to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation.

    + Provide continuous tracking and monitoring of project progress to ensure timely delivery.

    + Implement effective time management strategies to optimize project timelines and breakthroughs.

    + Ensure quality management practices are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

    + Manage project scope to prevent scope creep and ensure project objectives are met.

    + Identify and mitigate risks to minimize impact on project delivery and outcomes.

    + Control project costs and budgets to ensure financial efficiency and accountability.

    + Engage with collaborators to ensure their needs and expectations are met throughout the project.

    + Apply MS Project to organize and manage project tasks and timelines effectively.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive project execution and delivery.

    + Drive project budgeting processes to ensure financial resources are allocated appropriately.

    + Facilitate communication and coordination among team members to enhance project performance.

    Qualifications

    + Possess strong skills in project planning estimation and tracking to ensure successful project outcomes.

    + Demonstrate expertise in time management and quality management to optimize project delivery.

    + Have experience in managing project scope and risks to maintain project integrity.

    + Show proficiency in cost and budget management to ensure financial accountability.

    + Apply MS Project effectively for project organization and management.

    + Experience in collaborator management to ensure satisfaction and engagement.

    + Domain experience in Payer is a plus enhancing project relevance and impact.

    The annual salary for this position is between $81,337– $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

     

    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
