Position reports to the Executive Director, Portfolio Strategy within WW Medical Cardiovascular & Immunology (CV & I) Global Medical Affairs and is responsible for assisting with early medical and scientific strategy development. This role will assist the CV & I portfolio strategy/business development leads in the coordination of business development opportunities, early asset strategy and budget planning & management.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Partner with WW Medical Cardiovascular & Immunology Portfolio Strategy & Business Development Lead(s) to focus on executing key deliverables around business development diligence and portfolio strategy refresh.
+ Project management for alignment of portfolio strategy initiatives with commercial and medical including management of MSAs/CDAs/Advisors, clinical & scientific research to review and summarize bodies of evidence, epidemiology, patient journey, projected competitive landscape.
+ Project Management supporting leads with business development assessments & market research including engagement with key internal stakeholders in Commercial, Clinical Development and CV Discovery.
+ Supporting execution of the WW CV/IMM Medical planning on key early assets.
+ Supporting leads in partnering with Commercial and Research & Development to integrate the medical perspective into the commercialization process and development strategy.
+ Supporting medical advisory boards (as needed) to help our internal early development teams optimize assets for unmet needs.

Qualifications & Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Physical sciences or relevant discipline, advanced degrees preferred (MSc, PharmD, MBA)
+ Experience Requirements: 7-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical research, development, medical affairs or commercialization. A solid foundation in science & medical affairs is indispensable.
+ Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, international teams.
+ Ability to engage in complex scientific discussions to develop /summarize clear follow-up/action plans and execute.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact directly and productively with team members and management and to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities is also required.
+ Strong experience with building relationships, leading strategic initiatives and programs, and collaborating across divisions with people of diverse business backgrounds and cultures.
+ Comfort with ambiguity, driving change and innovation across the team.
