Major Job Activities
Key Responsibilities:
+ 25% - Train, advise, assist, and integrate IqAF maintenance personnel on APG systems including propulsion, hydraulics, and airframe components.
+ 25% - Perform and supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to ensure safe and mission-ready aircraft.
+ 15% - Use and instruct IqAF in proper use of technical data, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
+ 10% - Conduct engine runs, operational checks, and system troubleshooting on the flightline.
+ 10% - Document maintenance actions accurately in accordance with approved systems and procedures.
+ 10% - Recommend process improvements and assist in normalizing IqAF APG operations.
+ 5% - Support additional duties and team integration as directed by Site Leadership.
Material & Equipment Directly Used
Flightline support equipment, hand tools, diagnostic systems, propulsion system test tools, technical manuals, Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Environment
Flightline and maintenance hangar setting in a deployed environment; exposure to extreme temperatures and aircraft operations.
Physical Activities
Lifting, bending, standing, and working in confined spaces; exposure to noise, fumes, and high-pressure systems.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training preferred.
Certifications: USAF 7-skill level (Craftsman) in Airframe, Propulsion, or APG systems preferred.
Experience: 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in this specialty field.
Other Requirements: U.S. Citizenship; eligible for Secret clearance; capable of worldwide deployment including the Middle East; prior international maintenance support experience preferred.
Skills and Technology Used: Maintenance documentation systems, technical order interpretation, propulsion diagnostics, Microsoft Office.
