Job Title: Accounts Payable Associate
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Associate to join our dynamic Finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. You’ll be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain smooth and timely payments. Key Responsibilities
+ Review and validate invoice approvals and general ledger coding.
+ Accurately enter invoices into the accounting system and match them with purchase orders.
+ Perform regular reconciliations of invoices, vendor statements, and data entries.
+ Assist in the preparation and verification of weekly check runs.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and credits.
+ Ensure timely receipt of credits for returned goods and initiate vendor disputes when necessary.
+ Coordinate with Accounting staff to issue stop-payments and resolve payment issues.
+ Follow up with Project Managers to ensure timely invoice approvals and entries.
+ Identify and tag invoices missing sales tax information.
+ Maintain organized records in compliance with accounts payable retention policies.
+ Share responsibility for managing the central AP email inbox.
What You Bring
+ 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong data entry skills.
+ Familiarity with invoice processing, purchase orders, and account reconciliation.
+ Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
+ Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ Hands-on experience with invoice coding and reconciliation processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
