Job Title: Senior Billing Analyst (Remote – DMV Area Required)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Billing Analyst to support their finance operations. This is a remote position, but candidates must be based in the DMV area for occasional in-person collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and financial expertise to manage the reconciliation and closeout of inactive government programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead unbilled reconciliation and cleanup for inactive programs, delivery orders, and task orders.

+ Support Interim Final Closeout activities for active contracts and IDIQ agreements related to inactive contract years.

+ Perform final billing and complete financial contract closeout checklists.

+ Prepare and compile Closeout Packages for Executive Finance approval.

+ Collaborate with Contract Managers, Finance Managers, and the PAE Shared Service Center (Billing and Costpoint Project Setup teams).

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience in Billing, Contract Closeout, Financial Analysis, or Project Finance.

+ Strong understanding of government contracting (GovCon) and contract types.

+ Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint.

+ Experience with COGNOS is a strong plus.

+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $37.00/hr.
