We are seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst with a specialization in IT Program Financial Analysis to join our finance business partnering team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling and analytics to support decision-making for strategic M&A programs and various projects. You will be instrumental in driving cost transparency and alignment between IT and business teams, helping to manage and communicate the value of technology investments.
Responsibilities
+ Manage robust program financial consolidation models and analytics to identify emerging trends and create forward-looking insights.
+ Develop and maintain program reporting tools such as dashboards, scorecards, and resource estimation workbooks to provide actionable insights on program expenses and capital project spending.
+ Provide financial modeling and analysis expertise to senior IT leaders to support resource management and capital investment decisions.
+ Lead the analysis and review of monthly actuals, including accruals, and update forecasts through detailed contract analysis.
+ Perform ad hoc financial analysis to assist IT leadership in decision-making and transparency of financial impacts.
+ Support validation and review of JIRA-driven decision-making frameworks for IT spend approvals.
+ Align forecasts within Apptio to ensure visibility into program expense projections.
+ Ensure forecasting data within Apptio matches external expense models.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA in Finance preferred.
+ 7+ years of progressive financial planning and analysis experience focusing on IT operations and strategic initiatives.
+ Advanced knowledge of financial data modeling, cost classification, IT analytics, and IT service costing strategies.
+ Experience with complex resource funding models and the ability to assess impacts from budget variance and forecast perspectives.
+ Familiarity with the Technology Business Management (TBM) framework and IT budgeting for infrastructure, operations, and information security.
+ Proficiency in Workday and either JIRA, ServiceNow, or Adaptive Insights.
+ Advanced Excel skills, including IF Statements, VLookup, Power Pivot/Query, and SQL.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Apptio One and TargetProcess.
+ CMA, CPA, FMVA, or FPAC certifications are a plus.
+ Technology Business Management (TBM) or FinOps certifications are an advantage but not required.
+ MBA in Finance or an advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
Work Environment
This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote. In the first month, initial work will be required to integrate with team processes and systems. The role involves using technologies such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Workday, SQL, and Excel. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
