    Job Title: ChemistJob Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled Chemist to prepare, make, and test batch and finished products. This role involves performing routine and non-routine testing to identify and address any quality or stability issues. The Chemist will also serve as the main technical representative for select accounts, responding to client emails, participating in status phone calls, and overseeing product and sampling requests from ideation to production. We are looking for a professional with experience in personal care and laboratory testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare, make, and test batch and finished products.

    + Perform routine and non-routine testing to identify and resolve quality or stability issues.

    + Serve as the main technical representative for select accounts.

    + Respond to client emails and participate in status phone calls.

    + Oversee product and sampling requests from ideation to production.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in chemistry and laboratory techniques.

    + Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).

    + Knowledge of wet chemistry and titration.

    + Experience with FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy).

    + Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or food science.

    + 1-2 years of experience in a lab setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience working in a GMP lab.

    + Experience in flavor chemistry.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working in a laboratory setting as part of a team of three other individuals. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided to ensure safety. The work environment is collaborative and focused on innovation in cosmetics, personal care, and over-the-counter drug products.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
