    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team and provide exceptional support in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical assisting and be adept at handling administrative tasks, patient care, and clinical support.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct follow-ups and update patient records through data entry.

    + Answer inbound phone calls and provide exceptional customer service.

    + Order labs and relay lab results to patients.

    + Schedule follow-up appointments and manage appointment scheduling.

    + Perform triage and provide clinical support as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical Assisting.

    + Diploma or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.

    + High School Diploma required.

    + Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records, specifically Athena EMR.

    + Strong understanding of medical terminology.

    + Experience in ordering labs and managing patient care.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Excellent customer service skills.

    + Experience with front desk operations.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is advantageous.

    + Knowledge of insurance procedures is a plus.

    Work Environment

    This position requires working onsite at a clinic from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Enjoy a supportive work culture with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401K plans.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
