Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing model and assembly designs as well as correlating drawing packages to enhance manufacturing efficiency both internally and through outsourcing. You will be tasked with designing and detailing to evolving company standards and modifying prints to meet customer and management expectations. You will also engage with internal and external customers to review design projects and may occasionally travel to support sales efforts.

Responsibilities

+ Develop model and assembly designs and correlating drawing packages for manufacturing efficiency.

+ Design and detail according to company standards.

+ Modify prints to meet customer and management expectations.

+ Review design projects with internal and external customers.

+ Meet with customers primarily via web conference software, with some potential travel.

+ Perform all duties as assigned by management.

+ Work in a highly dynamic engineer-to-order environment.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in Solidworks.

+ Experience in tooling design and trim tooling.

+ Experience with machine design.

+ 5+ years of solid modeling experience.

+ Ability to work both independently and in a team.

+ Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

+ Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OEM Machine Design experience is a plus.

+ Custom Automation Cell Design experience is a plus.

+ Organized and detail-oriented.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role situated in a new engineering team space with manufacturing facilities on-site. The company offers a family-owned, family-based culture with opportunities for overtime hours, as engineers are compensated on an hourly basis.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $100000.00/yr.
