Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled technician to join our team in the assembly and repair of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role involves interpreting schematics, selecting appropriate components, assembling and repairing PCBs, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in design and process.
Key Responsibilities
+ Interpret electrical schematics to understand circuit functionality and guide assembly.
+ Identify and select appropriate components based on schematic requirements and functional needs.
+ Assemble components onto PCBs for both new product development and existing product lines.
+ Diagnose and repair PCBs by removing and replacing faulty components.
+ Provide feedback and suggestions to improve PCB design for manufacturability and performance.
+ Recommend enhancements to the PCB assembly, testing, and validation processes.
+ Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely project completion.
Required Skills
+ Proficient in soldering through-hole and surface-mount components.
+ Strong understanding of electronic schematics and component functionality.
+ Experience with PCB assembly and rework techniques.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
+ IPC certification in soldering or PCB repair (a plus).
+ Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
+ Experience with automated or semi-automated assembly tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
