    EntomologistJob Description

    The ideal candidate will primarily provide support for our high-throughput entomology testing platform via the application of basic biological concepts and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce various solutions and artificial diets for insect bioassays.

    + Care for plants in a growth chamber and/or greenhouse setting.

    + Set up and score insect bioassays.

    + Enter data accurately and efficiently.

    + Use and maintain laboratory equipment.

    + Perform general lab and controlled environment cleaning.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in biology, entomology, plant physiology or related field.

    + Basic understanding of the principles of plant and animal life.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Results orientation.

    + Customer focus.

    + Teamwork.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Problem-solving skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
