• Entry Level Transportation Engineer

    Actalent (Madison, WI)


    As an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects. This role provides a unique opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects that positively impact communities.

    Responsibilities:

    + Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers in the planning and design of transportation projects.

    + Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather relevant data for project analysis.

    + Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, reports, and specifications.

    + Utilize engineering software and tools to perform calculations and simulations.

    + Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines.

    + Stay up to date of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in transportation engineering.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    + Strong academic background with a focus on transportation engineering coursework.

    + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    + Proficient in engineering software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or other relevant tools.

    + Knowledge of WisDOT projects is a plus.

    + Effective communication and teamwork skills.

    + Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
