Job Description: CMM Programmer
We are seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer with over 2 years of experience in performing close tolerance mechanical inspections. The ideal candidate will have expertise in metal machining, stamping, and fabrication, and will be proficient in CMM programming using PCDIMS and/or CMM Manager Software. A strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and ISO 9001 and IATF standards is essential.
Responsibilities
+ Inspect incoming and outgoing products and materials to engineering specifications using basic test and measuring equipment.
+ Program and operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) using PCDIMS and/or CMM Manager Software.
+ Perform measurements for statistical process controls, capability studies, and MSA as applicable for key characteristics specified on customer prints and/or customer specs.
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of purchased parts, tight tolerance machined, fabricated and stamped parts, components, assemblies, and materials using calibrated equipment.
+ Perform first article inspection and FAI layouts on new and/or revised parts and components.
+ Complete FAI reports with all dimensions and submit to PPAP Lead for data entry and verifications. Ensure that PPAP and FAI reports meet customer and/or internal requirements.
+ Generate regular inspection reports (History Cards) as required.
+ Initiate nonconformance reports (NC's).
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in close tolerance mechanical inspections.
+ Proficiency in CMM Programming using PCDIMS and/or CMM Manager Software.
+ Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
+ Experience with metal machining, stamping, and fabrication.
+ Strong math skills.
+ Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF standards is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
