    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will accurately and efficiently fill prescription requests under the supervision of a Pharmacist, ensuring consistent workflow to meet daily production goals. This role requires the ability to work productively both independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities

    + Manually fill prescription vials with prescribed tablets and capsules.

    + Read computer-generated screens to locate indicated merchandise on labeled shelves, verifying size and strength of the product before filling orders.

    + Replenish medication in automated cells to full capacity by opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product.

    + Utilize basic mathematical reasoning to count or calculate the appropriate number of units needed to fill prescriptions.

    + Use handheld scanner units to scan barcodes of products for replenishment.

    + Demonstrate problem resolution skills by recognizing, addressing, and escalating issues as necessary.

    + Maintain focus and acute attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks with absolute accuracy.

    + Keep the pharmacy floor clean and orderly.

    + Understand and comply with federal and state HIPAA laws and pharmacy standard procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy.

    + Process orders for shipping, including folding and packing paperwork and attaching shipping labels.

    + Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    + Promote the company's Shared ICARE Principles.

    Essential Skills

    + Indiana Pharmacy Technician License in good standing.

    + Current Pharmacy Technician license required.

    + Working knowledge of pharmacy operations and professional standards.

    + Good computer skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PTCB National Certification preferred.

    + At least one year of pharmacy experience.

    + Warehouse experience is a plus.

    + Exhibit customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills in a constantly changing production environment.

    Work Environment

    This position is located onsite at 260 Logistics Ave, Jeffersonville, Indiana, in a climate-controlled facility. The work schedule includes 1st and 2nd shifts with specific hours. The role involves standing and walking continuously during the shift, with occasional bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, and pinching. Visual acuity is required to read computer screens, handheld scanners, and labels. Benefits start on the first day of the month after conversion to full-time, including 170 hours of PTO once converted. The environment is supportive, with opportunities for growth and cross-training.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.50/hr.
