    Responsibilities:

    As a Quality Laboratory Technician, you will:

    + Perform quality testing on magnet wire to ensure specifications, investigate improvements, and assist in R&D efforts.

    + Provide metallurgical testing and support for magnet wire products.

    + Conduct QA testing, experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.

    + Assist with the preparation of magnet wire enamels, thinners, and lubricants.

    + Analyze and inspect raw materials and chemical products to verify compliance with specifications.

    + Execute various tests requiring strong attention to detail and precision.

    + Utilize chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.

    + Read and interpret detailed instructions, input and analyze data, and generate reports to document results.

    + Support engineers and management in identifying and resolving quality concerns.

    + Work with computer programs, quality systems, and tools, playing an active role in the quality management system.

    + Follow established procedures to ensure product quality, safety, and production efficiency.

    + Maintain accurate records and documentation for reporting purposes.

    + Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues, fostering a collaborative work environment.

    + GMP compliance

    + Quality control & assurance

    + Metallurgy & materials science

    + Analytical chemistry

    + Inspection & testing

    + Wet chemistry & titration

    + Precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)

    Qualifications:

    + Option 1: 2–3 years of experience as a quality assurance/quality control lab technician, preferably in a chemistry lab.

    + Option 2: Entry-level candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field are encouraged to apply.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in computer systems and software.

    + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

    Preferred Experience:

    Candidates with 2–3 years of chemistry lab experience—including

     

    viscosity testing, pH testing, water testing, chemical mixing, quality

     

    assurance, wet chemistry, and titration—are highly valued!

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.65 - $21.65/hr.
