    Job Title: Electro Mechanical Engineer

    Job Description

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, R&D, customer technical support, and production to execute initiatives and drive product development. Lead product design, process optimization, and the development of cost-saving measures and quality control initiatives. Apply machine capabilities, machining principles, material characteristics, and tolerances (including tolerance stack-up analysis). Lead the development of technology-based products and support manufacturing lines, including project management, documentation, and test development. Provide technical expertise to engineers, assemblers, and machinists to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Conduct research on new technologies and stay current on client applications. Participate in defining solution approaches, engineering problems, and process improvements. Collaborate with management to optimize departmental budgets and maximize ROI.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development.

    + Lead product design and process optimization initiatives.

    + Lead technology-based product development and support manufacturing lines.

    + Provide technical expertise to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in SolidWorks and 3D CAD.

    + Experience with R&D and new product development.

    + Strong experience in mechanical engineering.

    + Hands-on experience with metalworking and production machines.

    + Understanding of machining principles and tolerances.

    + Proven leadership and communication skills.

    + Ability to manage projects and communicate complex ideas clearly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.

    + Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technology-based product development environment.

    + Substantial experience with machinery.

    + Strong knowledge of manufacturing efficiencies, FMEA, and DFMA.

    + Understanding of financials, production costs, and ROI.

    + Experience in continuous improvement efforts.

    + Experience in sourcing suppliers for new product lines.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $135000.00/yr.

     

    Bonus and stock options, paid healthcare.

     

    Profit sharing: on average people get $30-50K additional per year – sometimes up $80K additional. They provide bonus's based on companies total profit for the year. This is split across all employees.

     

    Benefits: Aetna insurance – 100% covered for employee, 62% coverage for dependents
