Job Title: Controls Engineer 3Job Description
The primary role of a Controls Engineer is to design, develop, install, and maintain equipment used to monitor and control engineering systems and processes. This position focuses on ensuring optimal operation of engineering systems while adhering to safety and legal standards.
Responsibilities
+ Assist in creating and following an electrical design schedule from specification concept to system completion, maintaining alignment with the overall project timeline.
+ Test, evaluate, modify, and calibrate products and instruments to ensure quality and functionality.
+ Analyze plant processes and design improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
+ Troubleshoot hardware and process issues to ensure smooth operations.
+ Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design, including electrical requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements for completed work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
+ 5-7 years of experience in engineering, specifically in controls engineering and electrical systems.
Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and requires interaction with advanced technologies and equipment. Employees are expected to adhere to safety standards and collaborate effectively within a team setting to meet project deadlines.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
