Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of three to five union millwrights and electricians. This role requires expertise in either mechanical or electrical fields and involves 100% supervision. The successful candidate will manage industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines, along with secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, gearboxes, bearings, and cylinders. The position involves regular inspections and recording the condition of electrical equipment, collaborating with engineering, operations, and quality control during emergency breakdowns, coordinating machine downtimes, directing maintenance personnel, and inputting data into the CMMS program.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee a team of union millwrights and electricians.

+ Manage industrial cranes, steel slitters, coating machines, and conveyor lines.

+ Inspect and record the condition of electrical equipment.

+ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality control during breakdowns.

+ Coordinate machine downtimes and direct maintenance personnel.

+ Input data and track work orders using CMMS software.

+ Perform maintenance on forklifts and lifting equipment.

+ Read blueprints and schematics.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues up to 480V single and three-phase.

+ PLC troubleshooting or programming experience is a plus.

+ Perform general shop clean-up as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 7+ years of Maintenance Supervision experience.

+ Strong industrial mechanical or electrical experience.

+ Experience supervising at least five maintenance technicians.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency in inputting data and tracking work orders in CMMS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
