    Job Title: Sheet Metal Technician (Per Diem $100 a day)

    Job Description

    We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Technicians for a long-term project focusing on sheet metal and duct installation at a data center in New Albany, OH. This position requires journeyman-level skills and an OSHA 10 certification or higher. Successful candidates will work in a dynamic environment that offers opportunities for overtime.

    Responsibilities

    + Install sheet metal and ductwork according to project specifications.

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards, including the use of appropriate PPE.

    + Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute installations accurately.

    + Use hand tools and power tools effectively for installation tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Journeyman-level experience in sheet metal and ductwork installation.

    + OSHA 10 certification or higher.

    + Proficient use of tools such as cordless drills, clamps, shears, pliers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with body harnesses and retractables.

    + Familiarity with HVAC systems and blueprint reading.

    + Ability to maintain a clean driving record.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is based at an AWS Data Center in New Albany, OH, spanning 6-7+ months. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with Saturday shifts commencing soon. The position requires U.S. citizenship, verified through a state-issued birth certificate with a raised seal, a U.S. passport, or a U.S. Certificate of Naturalization. Proper PPE, including a type 2 hard hat, body harness, steel-toed boots, high visibility clothing, cut-resistant gloves, and safety glasses, is mandatory.

    This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
