CERTIFIED Forklift Operator

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will spend the majority of your day operating a forklift, efficiently moving and staging inventory. You will also use a hand jack to transport materials and ensure they are prepared for installers.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a forklift to move and stage inventory.

+ Utilize a hand jack for material handling.

+ Prepare materials for installation teams.

+ Ensure quality assurance in material handling.

+ Assist in general production tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials.

+ Mechanical inclination and understanding of industrial assembly and repair.

+ Knowledge of inventory management and carpentry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working on Amazon projects.

+ Demonstrated extensive physical labor experience.

+ Strong attendance record.

+ Exposure to quality assurance and troubleshooting techniques.

Work Environment

You will be working inside a large Amazon facility, equipped with numerous moving parts and collaborating with Ivy Technology and Aerotek Services. The environment requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, with occasional shifts on Saturdays, totaling 8 to 10 hours per day.

This is a Contract position based out of Pflugerville, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
