    Job Title: Floors/Drive & Material Handlers

     

    We are hiring Inventory handlers for a 6 week project starting June 9th-June 27th, take a 2 week break due to Amazon Prime Day, and back for the remainder of the contract July 14th- August 2nd. Dates are subject to change.

     

    This position is a lot of bending, crouching, twisting, and at times working on hands and knees due to laying out parts to be assembled by another team member. Think of this job as a large scale puzzle!

     

    Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm with occasional overtime

    Job Description

    This position involves the installation of 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing. The majority of tasks are performed on the mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels. Responsibilities include handling a variety of tasks such as using power tools, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist project teams by commissioning and cleaning warehouse spaces.

    + Build and install robotic arms and stations.

    + Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks.

    + Use hand and air-powered tools to commission towers according to diagrams.

    + Follow step-by-step instructions for installation processes.

    + Run wiring for power supply and ensure proper material handling.

    + Perform general labor tasks including moderate to heavy lifting.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.

    + Experience working 8 hours a day on hard cement floors.

    + Good attendance record.

    + Ability to take direction effectively.

    + Willingness to work in multiple positions such as inventory and housekeeping.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in material handling, robotics, general labor, construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.

    Work Environment

     

    The work will take place at an Amazon Distribution Center, which can be messy and loud at times. The environment is sometimes crowded, requiring presentability and professionalism. PPE including high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs, and steel toe shoes/boots is mandatory. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable but avoid loose, baggy clothing.

    This is a Contract position based out of Wilmington, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
