    Job Title: Mechanical Installer

    **Pay:** $24/hr

    **Shift:** Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm with occasional overtime

     

    We are hiring experienced Mechanical Installers for a 6 week project starting June 9th-June 27th, take a 2 week break due to warehouse in use, and back for the remainder of the contract July 14th- August 2nd. Dates are subject to change.

     

    This position is a lot of heavy lifting, bending, crouching, twisting and working with hand & power tools.

    Job Description

    As a Mechanical Installer, you will take on a more technical role, focusing on mechanical tasks. This position requires candidates who are adept with hand and power tools and have prior installation experience, particularly with machinery or robotics.

    Responsibilities

    + Install 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels.

    + Handle various tasks including the use of power tools, cleaning, and running materials using a pallet jack.

    + Support project teams by commissioning, cleaning warehouses, and assembling robotic arms and stations.

    + Utilize pallet jacks to move, strap, and catalogue materials efficiently.

    + Employ hand and air-powered tools to commission towers as per diagrams.

    + Follow detailed step-by-step instructions for installations.

    + Run wiring for power supply and material handling.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 40-50lbs consistently.

    + Experience working 8-hour shifts on hard cement floors.

    + Strong attendance record.

    + Proficiency in following directions.

    + Flexibility to work in various roles from inventory to housekeeping.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior experience in material handling, robotics, construction, assembly, installation, or a mechanical role.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position takes place within a large distribution center that is climate controlled.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
