Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves working closely with another technician and reporting to the Facilities Manager. The technician will be responsible for both production maintenance and facilities maintenance tasks. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 7am to 11am, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.

+ Conduct electrical and mechanical repairs up to 480 volts.

+ Maintain and repair forklifts and other industrial equipment.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

+ Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions independently.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in facilities and production maintenance.

+ Strong troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.

+ Electrical and mechanical knowledge, particularly up to 480 volts.

+ Ability to repair forklifts and other industrial equipment.

Work Environment

The role involves working across two buildings: a climate-controlled production facility and a non-climate-controlled warehouse. You will work with various equipment including CNC saws, manual conveyors, dust vacuums, balers, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, industrial sewing machines, gluer nozzles, industrial fans, shrink wrap machines, steam iron machines, and banding equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Clayton, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $72800.00/yr.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Clayton,NC.
