    Job Title: General Manager

    Job Description

    As a General Manager, you will lead Residential Dining, Retail Dining, and Catering operations while supporting the development of a state-of-the-art kitchen and dining hall. This role offers the chance to thrive in a faith-based campus community and collaborate with a highly engaged client partner.

    Responsibilities

    + Partner with campus stakeholders, client teams, and project managers to support construction progress and communicate updates to leadership.

    + Maintain a strong campus presence and actively engage with the university community.

    + Lead, mentor, and develop team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    + Drive financial performance by meeting company and client goals.

    + Create and implement strategic operational plans.

    + Ensure full compliance with company standards and best practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 4–5 years of experience as a General Manager or Food Service Director in a high-volume dining environment, preferably in university dining, contract food services, or large-scale catering/event operations.

    + Demonstrated leadership with a collaborative management style and experience in food service operations.

    + Proven ability to manage complex projects and adapt quickly to changing needs with effective problem-solving.

    + Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and team management capabilities.

    + Strong client relationship management and solid financial acumen.

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

    + Minimum 3 years in both management and functional food service roles.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $82000.00/yr.

     

    Relocation and Annual Incentive Bonus programs are offered for this exciting career opportunity!

     

    Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience
