Job Title: Travel Sheet Metal Technician $28-33- 100 a day

Job Description

We are seeking journeyman-level sheet metal technicians to join a dynamic project at a data center in New Albany, OH. This position offers a long-term commitment with opportunities for overtime and travel benefits for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

+ Install sheet metal and ductwork at a data center.

+ Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols.

+ Utilize tools such as cordless drills, clamps, shears, pliers, wrenches, and screwdrivers.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and HVAC systems.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

+ Journeyman-level expertise in sheet metal and ductwork installation.

+ OSHA 10 certification or higher.

+ Proficiency in using body harnesses and retractable safety gear.

+ Experience with clean duct technology and HVAC systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with using PPE including type 2 hard hat, body harness, steel-toed boots, high viz apparel, cut-resistant gloves, and safety glasses.

Work Environment

The work environment is a data center located in New Albany, OH. The project spans over 6-7 months, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and Saturday shifts being added soon. The facility adheres to strict safety and citizenship requirements, ensuring a secure and professional setting for all workers.

This is a Contract position based out of Johnstown, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
