Box Truck Driver

**Pay:** $26-$29/hr

**Shift:** 6:00am - 4:30 M-F

**Location:** Woodinville, WA

Job Description

As a Box Truck Driver, you play a crucial role in meeting our customers' needs by ensuring timely and exceptional delivery of orders. The ideal candidate is dedicated to maintaining safety regulations and providing outstanding customer service. You will interact daily with customers, dispatchers, receivers, and load-builders.

Responsibilities

+ Provide required paperwork and scanning for dispatch

+ Follow established SOPs

+ Demonstrate legal and thorough knowledge of tie-down rules and regulations.

+ Understand weight, height, and length limits.

+ Ensure all material transported on the truck has either an invoice or Material Returns Form

+ Learn best practices related to efficient loading, strapping, and driving.

+ Check loads for accuracy

+ Annually update driver’s qualification file as required by Federal and state regulations and company policy

+ Complete mileage and fuel usage reports.

+ Follow delivery procedures by taking photos of delivered shipment after completing each delivery

+ Learn and use route planning and optimization.

+ Demonstrate commitment to on-time and in-full deliveries.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of experience with a 26' box truck

+ Familiarity with GPS devices or map applications

+ Knowledge of vehicle safety audits and reporting malfunctioning equipment

+ Current DOT medical card or must obtain DOT medical card as a condition of employment

+ CDL, Loading, Unloading, Truck driving, DOT, Class C

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Driving experience within a 50-mile radius of the primary Woodinville location is preferred.

+ Must be able to work 10-12 hour days with lots of overtime.

+ Must be able to lift 90 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
