    Job Title: General Production Worker

     

    Multiple shifts day or night available Monday to Friday

     

    Pay is $17.50/hour to $19.00/hour

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Production Worker in a dynamic setting that manufactures wire mesh fencing. We are looking for a team player who is safety-oriented and ready to contribute to our production process. The role involves manually loading material, observing machine operations, and detecting malfunctions to ensure smooth production.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload parts/materials.

    + Consistently lift up to 50lbs.

    + Unload and stack material efficiently.

    + Assemble wire mesh nets and thread wire mesh together.

    + Observe equipment operations to detect malfunctions and notify operators.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.

    + Ability to perform assembly tasks and use hand tools.

    + Competence in inspection, packaging, and material handling.

    + Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with forklifts and tape measure.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    + Experience in construction and mechanical environments.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in an industrial setting with varying temperatures, hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The role offers three shifts: Day (7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday-Friday), Swing (3 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday-Friday), and Night (11 PM – 7:30 AM, Sunday-Thursday). Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential, including steel toes, eye protection, gloves, and jeans. Ear protection is optional. A hard hat is required in areas where cranes may be used, although this is not frequent.

    This is a Contract position based out of ALGODONES, New Mexico.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
