    Job Description

We are seeking an Area Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at the University of Jamestown and support four other North Dakota university dining programs. This hands-on role involves high-volume food production, special events, and multi-site oversight—ideal for candidates with campus or healthcare dining experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspire and develop culinary teams across five campus accounts.

    + Oversee purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, menu compliance, and forecasting using automated food management systems.

    + Ensure adherence to culinary standards, including recipe and food quality compliance.

    + Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

    + Travel weekly to campus sites, with occasional overnight stays.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62300.00 - $94270.00/yr.

     

    Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
